My fathers company Boreal Yachting had the sailing legend Jimmy Cornell and his wife Gwenda on a New Years Visit to Tromsø. We went on a Aurora chase outside the islands of Tromsø. We had some nice displays and the guest seemed very pleased with the first meeting with aurora. Here is a time-lapse I made of the night.
